HoneyandClaude Opus 4.8 8fc6a3aaef feat(backend): PO token provider for YouTube downloads; drop the cookies approach 
Replace the cookies-file stopgap (needs a throwaway account + manual refresh)
with a self-hosted PO token provider — the cookie-less way past YouTube's
datacenter-IP block (bot check + media 403).

- docker-compose: new bgutil-provider service (brainicism/bgutil-ytdlp-pot-provider)
  + install the bgutil-ytdlp-pot-provider plugin in the backend + POT_PROVIDER_URL
  env + depends_on.
- ytdlp.js / server.js: when POT_PROVIDER_URL is set, pass
  --extractor-args youtubepot-bgutilhttp:base_url=... to the download cascade, the
  YTM search probe and the importer resolve. Empty → omitted (unchanged behaviour).
- Removed the cookiesFile config + --cookies wiring so there's no dead code.

HoneyandClaude Opus 4.8 0990dfadb5 fix(backend): pass YouTube cookies to yt-dlp to beat the datacenter bot check 
YouTube now returns "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for yt-dlp from
datacenter IPs, blocking downloads, search and link-resolve. When a cookies file
is present (YTDLP_COOKIES, default /data/youtube-cookies.txt) every yt-dlp call
passes --cookies so it authenticates. Checked at call time (drop the file in, no
code change); absent → unchanged behaviour. Applied to the download cascade, the
YTM search probe, and the importer resolve.

HoneyandClaude Sonnet 4.6 f1bdd811ca chore: remove squid.wtf (Qobuz) backend — yt-dlp only 
Deletes backend/lib/squid.js; strips all references from downloader.js,
config.js, novasonic-server.js, docker-compose.yml, .env.example, README,
and CHANGELOG. Default DOWNLOAD_BACKEND is now ytdlp.

HoneyandClaude Sonnet 4.6 adcbb2e883 feat: replace Bandsintown with Ticketmaster for concert events 
Backend: swap /api/events/:artist to use Ticketmaster Discovery API
(startDateTime=now, classificationName=music, size=20, sort by date).
Maps TM response to the same {datetime, venue, offers} shape the modal
expects. Returns [] if TICKETMASTER_API_KEY is not set.

Frontend: remove all debug console.logs from events.js; drop redundant
client-side date filter (TM already filters by startDateTime server-side).

HoneyandClaude Sonnet 4.6 0f1e6ff531 refactor: remove dead code from backend and lib 
- Remove unused spotifyClientId/spotifyClientSecret from config
- Remove AUDIO_EXTS from metadata exports (internal-only)
- Remove tryYtdlp wrapper in ytdlp.js (direct spawnYtdlp calls)
- Remove _spArtistName wrapper in server (direct _spAllArtists calls)
- Fix stale comment: primary resolver is SpotipyFree, not curl_cffi

HoneyandClaude Sonnet 4.6 468827571a feat: switch Spotify auth to official Client Credentials Flow 
Replaces the broken open.spotify.com/get_access_token scrape with
accounts.spotify.com/api/token (Basic auth, client_credentials grant).
Adds SPOTIFY_CLIENT_ID/SECRET to config, docker-compose, and .env.example.
Health endpoint now reports spotify.configured; frontend disables the
importer and shows a setup guide when credentials are missing.

- backend/lib/metadata.js — iTunes, artwork, lyrics, sanitize helpers
- backend/lib/ytdlp.js   — yt-dlp download cascade + shared embedMetadata()
- backend/lib/squid.js   — ALTCHA PoW solver, Qobuz search/download via squid.wtf
- backend/lib/downloader.js — backend selector: ytdlp | squid | auto (squid-first + fallback)
- novasonic-server.js thinned to Express routes only, imports from lib/
- docker-compose: mount full backend/ dir, install deps outside read-only volume
- .env.example: document DOWNLOAD_BACKEND and SQUID_QUALITY
